Conquest

I don't believe conquest is justified by the passage that states that the only way to ensure a conqueror's lasting power is if a soil is conquered without hindrance of a less evolved form of intercourse. Marx and Engels do make a good point that in order for a new form of intercourse to work and evolve, the interests and relationships of the people living in a country need to have the same evolved form of intercourse to work completely. Although this is true, it does not justify conquest of ideas and people. It should not be necessary to completely wipe out and destroy a country or part of a land in order to apply a new form of intercourse, even it if is a better evolved form. I do agree that it is much easier to have a new form of intercourse evolve in a soil that has been conquered because all previous ideas and relationships have been completely wiped out. It begins as a fresh start with no previous prejudices and preferences to a specific form of intercourse. It is only the new form of intercourse that is being introduced without opposition. The new form of intercourse is able to evolve better without anyone restraining it by applying previous interests of the old form of intercourse. This is why it is very difficult to completely revolutionize a soil that has not been conquered. Even if a better form intercourse is evolved, not everyone will be ready to accept and practice the new intercouse because the previous intercourse that has been engrained will get in the way of their acceptance of the new intercourse. Although conquest does seem to be the easiest way to be able to establish a new form of intercourse, it does not justify abolishment of a people.
