Accidental v. Individual Person

What is the difference between what is accidental and what is just being a individual person.

The term 'accidental' might be referring to the things that are out of people's controls. They are the factors in life that are more or less predestined to them. For example, something accidental might be the fact that some people are born into wealth and therefore have a greater chance of living a more financially stable life while others struggle with money problems for they were born into a poorer family. There is not much a person can do about the things in their life that was accidental, especially when refering to the time "The German Ideology" was written. At this time, the lower class was primarily made up of farmers and they had very hard lives with very little chance of them getting out of poverty. The upper class, however, were extremely wealthy and the best way to aquire such wealth was pretty much to be born into it. In other words, wealth, or lack there of, was accidental in nature for it had nothing to do with the individual person's skills or talents. The term 'individual' is then referring to the things in one's lives that people actually do have control over. Something that is 'individual' is therefore largely based upon what a person is able to do. If a person works hard and becomes financially successful due to their good work ethics, then this person aquired wealth through individual means and not accidental.
