What is the real unity?

In a communist society, people believe that everyone should be equal in all way, such as the issue on no ranking (no one has a higher rank than anyone else), everyone is suppose to share everything they own with others. The whole idea is to promote the thought of classless and stateless society in regards to a country as a whole. Marx and Engel both believe in this ideology, they both think if there is only one equal or common community, people wouldn’t have to fight amongst each other, and look down on each other due to the higher rank status. Instead both theorists believe as a whole country rather than the small units provides a harmonious community with no hatred and envy involved.
In real life, things don’t happen this way, there will always be envy, and hatred, and certain people will eventually have a higher rank/class than others. I think Jenny made a good point in her response by saying “Since human nature is naturally greedy and selfish, I believe that only certain people can create real unity with a few other but not all.” I agree this statement because I do believe that a unity can be form but only by certain individuals. These individuals form this unity by choice and that choice is what creates the unity. Some individuals can have different ideas and feelings among each other, but if they choose to be united then it can happen and these individuals can be related to the “certain people” within the statement.
