Gramsci

I think Antonio Gramsci and his ideas are very interesting. He talks about a theory that may be very controversial to some people. The thought of an actual system the controls the movement of society through the ages if very intruiging. He talks about a system of morals in the actual human being that works towards opposition forces and the progession of ideas. This system of ideas reflects the moral character of the human being. These beliefs are progressed into the concepts of political system and economic systems that we create, which regard the way we interact with each other, and which we live by. There are two concepts he says one that are intrinsic in human nature, one to be communal and one that is designed to overtake. He believes that all men are intellectuals, all are born with the ability but not all have the opportunity and education to proceed. He believed the masses are incapable of making decisions for themselves and need intellectuals to led them and let them know what to think and how to act. He also promotes the concept that the intellects should hold a monopoly over religion, education, morality thoughts, and charities among other things
